Greenville Country Club

Located at 216 Country Club Drive, the Greenville course was built in 1923 as a 9-hole golf course. In later years the course transitioned into an 18-hole facility.  In 1993, golf architect John Lafoy engineered a major renovation, and the course reopen in October 1994. Mr. Lafoy began his design career working with George Cobb on the remodeling of Augusta National.  He also did renovation work on Country Club of Charleston and The Country Club of Birmingham.

Playing 6,227 yards par 71 from the championship tees, the course with its tree-lined fairways and champion Bermuda greens offer a challenge for all skill levels. The Greenville course has hosted numerous Carolina Golf Association events, state championships and qualifiers.  It is the current host of the ECU Lady Pirates intercollegiate Golf Tournament held in the fall.
